Work Package 7 mission is to investigate & analyse the supply and fuel quality requirements for methanol fueled vessels, and to assess and make recommendations on safety, regulations, and training requirements.
Objectives:
- At the start of FASTWATER, through summarizing and providing best practices for these areas to the demonstrator work packages for development of their specific solutions.
- During the project, through supporting the demo work packages regarding methanol supply, safety of design, and training developed for their vessels, and facilitating communication and sharing of experiences between the demos to avoid duplication of efforts across the project work packages.
- At the end of the project, through collecting and analysing results from the demos, and preparing guidelines, procedures, and lessons learned.
