On May 6th and May 7th 2021, the FASTWATER-project held its third General Assembly meeting to inform, exchange and discuss the substantial progress we made over the last couple of months. Here are some highlights:
- We saw the MD 97 engine of ScandiNAOS AB running on methanol live in action
- The retrofit-kit development shows very promising results
- The technical design of the methanol pilot boat and the methanol tug are finalised
- The preparations of the pilot boat and tug demonstrator are on track and we are existed to share more in the near future.
Now we head back to work in order to finalise the retrofit-kit and to launch the pilot boat demonstrator later this year.
